In the modern day kitchen, as everyone rushes to make a three or four course meal, there is generally chaos and confusion as the chief chef juggles between several bowls and recipes and spices and vegetables and meats and sauces and hands have to be wiped several times between the various tasks. What I cannot understand is how people do not pay attention to the constant draining and wastage of money in tens of different places right in the kitchen, let alone other parts of the house. As they say, “if you watch the pennies, the dollars will take care of themselves.” What is more important to remember is that when formal dinners are established and fancier looking napkins are brought forth and used, this cost goes up even more. You could use coupons to buy your kitchen towels and napkins, just do not announce publicly to your guests.
They can keep wondering how you can afford the luxuries in life without knowing how hard you worked in saving the money from going away shopping irresponsibly.
